Lesson #2 - Pet Care

When an adult, it is important to keep your house clean when you have a pet.

Who wants to sit on a couch that is complETely covered in hair? No one. I repeat, no one.

Here at college, professors are all for giving tips on how to keep your home presentable just in case a Prophet or Bishop pops in.

For example, in Chemistry last Friday, we were discussing different brands of cleaning products you can use when taking care of your pet.

Or more specifically, your pet elephant.

He started by asking who has ever wanted a pet elephant. Yes, I raised my hand. What can I say? Miss Mary Mack has me hooked.

Then he asked if we ever asked our parent to buy us one. Do you remember this mother? I distinctly remember you laughing at my request. Who doesn't want elephants that can jump over fences? Who I ask, who?

Well anyways as we were discussing the different compounds of the different brands of toothpaste used for elephants Dr. Brown brought out a solution and has the same elements found in seaweed.

As he poured it into the container of toothpaste that was composed of dihydrogen dioxide, the product was a frothy explosion that looked like the pink insulator inside of walls used in Extreeme Makeover: Home Edition.

So, the lesson to be learned here - when taking care of your pet elephant in your backyard, in order to avoid a pink explosion just in case your Bishop or General Authority stops by - don't feed your pet elephant seaweed after you brush it's teeth.

Lesson #1 - Communication is Essential.

Life is a tredmill that is constantly set to 15mph at a 7 degree incline.

People come, go, stop and eat chips and salsa, sit, skip, run, and just vegg.

Chances are, you will not always be in the same place and someone you wish to talk to.

There's no cell phone service in the lower floors of the library and classrooms at college, so how do you communicate?

Easy.

Post-it notes.
